Bringing Surgeons Together Across Europe
2026 has already been a milestone year for high-level Medical Education initiatives at Enovis International Surgical. With the year only halfway through, these programs have brought together the global orthopaedic community to exchange knowledge and advance surgical practice.
MO.S.A.I.C. – Modular Shoulder Arthroplasty International Course

The 15th edition of MO.S.A.I.C. was held on April 17–18 in Hanover, marking an important milestone in shoulder arthroplasty education.
Led by Dr. Jens Agneskirchner, together with Prof. Alessandro Castagna and an esteemed international faculty, the course focused on the evolving challenges of modern shoulder arthroplasty. Over two days, surgeons engaged in expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, exploring complex clinical cases and sharing insights on current techniques and approaches.
A key highlight was the live surgical procedures on the second day, allowing participants to observe techniques in real time and interact directly with faculty throughout each procedure.
MO.S.A.I.C. continues to be a reference point for surgeons seeking to refine their approach to shoulder arthroplasty across different levels of experience seeking for practical tips and tricks to refine their approach to shoulder arthroplasy. Intended for basic to intermediate level of experience.
S.H.A.R.E. – Shoulder Hands-on: Arthroplasty & Revision Education

The inaugural S.H.A.R.E. course took place in Verona, representing the first Enovis SkillsLAB fully dedicated to advanced shoulder revision and complex reconstruction.
Designed as an intensive two-day hands-on experience, the course addressed some of the most demanding clinical scenarios in shoulder surgery, including revision strategies for failed implants, management of severe glenoid bone loss, and the use of patient-specific solutions such as custom-made implants.
By combining laboratory practice with guidance from an experienced international faculty, participants had the opportunity to develop technical confidence in managing complex revision cases.
S.H.A.R.E. marks an important step in expanding educational offerings beyond primary arthroplasty, supporting surgeons throughout the full spectrum of care.
K.K.M. - The Knee Kinematics Meeting

The Knee Kinematics Meeting was held in Rome, bringing together international experts to comprehensively and clinically explore the kinematics of the knee.
Over two days, the program focused on both unicompartmental (UKA) and total knee arthroplasty (TKA), with particular attention to knee kinematics and to the relationship between implant design and surgical technique. Discussions addressed:
-
the role of implant geometry in restoring knee kinematics,
-
alignment strategies,
-
enabling technologies,
-
clinical decision-making through case-based debates.
The meeting fostered a highly interactive environment, encouraging peer-to-peer exchange and practical insight sharing.
In an evolving arthroplasty landscape, understanding knee kinematics remains essential and equipping surgeons with the knowledge and confidence to make informed, patient-specific decisions is our goal. Through the selection of the most appropriate procedure and implant design according to individual morphology and functional demands, improvements of patient outcomes and long-term results can be achieved.
