On September 5th and 6th, we hosted an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ProMade, Enovis’ bespoke design service that develops custom-made implants to treat the most complex cases.
ProMade is more than a service or an implant — it’s a testament to what we value most: close collaboration with surgeons and making a difference in patients’ lives.
ProMade is designed for patients with severe bone deformities or in cases where standard implants are no longer a viable option. It’s also used when bone loss is caused by tumors.
In simple terms, ProMade provides customized solutions tailored to a patient’s specific anatomy, produced with cutting-edge 3D printing technology.
An engineer then takes over the case and works side by side with the surgeon to design the most suitable implant.
Once finalized, the implant is produced using 3D printing, leveraging our 20+ years of expertise and proprietary Trabecular Titanium (TT) Technology.
Each implant is shipped with patient-specific instruments and bone models to guide surgeons intraoperatively.
When the former LimaCorporate team (now part of Enovis) launched ProMade, there was no roadmap. That’s why we take enormous pride in celebrating this milestone.
The event brought together the surgeons who trust and work with ProMade.
It featured a day of technological insights, with presentations about 3D printing technology, design evolution, and future custom improvements, followed by a second day of cases presentation and discussion.
